Silver Ghost, series A-H
i.e. 'Wire markers' for Pre-WWII R-R/B Automobiles
WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING THESE STYLES AVAILABLE BUT THE DATE OF THEIR AVAILABILY IS UNKNOWN. WE CAN SHARE WITH YOU WHAT WE EXPECT TO REPRODUCE.

Wire marker part numbers for Ghost series A through H:

U2195 - Terminal insulator, 1 1/4" long, knurled with male thread at end. These sit atop the flat surface of the distributor cap (Terminal Plate), E1442, style Gc.

E1539 - Terminal insulator cap (instead of U2196) 0.812" x 1.000" long with 9/16-26 internal thread, 7 of Ebonite: numbers 1-6 or the letter 'C'. These screw on top of the U2195/U2198 and accept the ignition wires, style Gk.

U2198 - Terminal insulator, 1 5/16" long, knurled with larger diameter collar at the bottom. These sit atop the flat surface of the distributor cap (Terminal Plate), E1442, but were used only under for the coil wire. We lack a sample of this item to reproduce. If anyone has one and are willing to assist the cause, please contact us. Our future style Ge.

E1416 - Battery terminal insulator, (instead of S475) 0.475" ID x 0.900" long, threaded one end with 3/8" female thread, plug end, flat spot in middle of insulator body for plug number. Used at all spark plugs for series A-H except not on magneto plugs of series H (see next item). A threaded sleeve over the end of the spark plug wire, style Gh.

E8204 - Bush for Terminal, 1 off each number. Used only at the magneto plugs on series H. Generally the same insulator as E1416a with stripes for magneto. Stripes 0.025 wide and deep, centered on body, with 0.100" spacing between for multiple stripes, style Gn.

??? - We find no part number or drawing for the insulators at the magneto connections, style Gm.

There are no plans to reproduce the following which were mated to the spark plug markers.
E1418 - Closed ring terminal with male thread, 1 1/4" long. 10 of these were used.
E3106 - Closed ring terminal with crook and male thread, 1 3/8" long. 2 of these were used.

Information on Ghost wire markers is difficult to come by. The RROC Silver Ghost drawing CD provides no GA or LOP 'Wire Fitting' information. Parts book #5 continued to call for the use of the same marker part numbers found in book #4 except for the ones at the magneto spark plugs where there was a distinct departure from earlier usage. Previously the magneto plugs had striped markers in contrast to the numbered ones on the other plugs. For series A thru G both sets of spark plugs are to have numbered markers, E1416 (our style Gh). For series H there is a new part number, E8204, drawing dated 27.11.15 which we have assigned as our style Gn. This was yet another striped magneto marker called out only for the magneto plugs on the 90 cars of series H.
